China’s Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì(汉语水平考试),literally meaning “Mandarin Level Test”.
It is a test for non-native speakers to measure their Chinese language proficiency. It is widely recognized by Chinese universities and work units.

The HSKK test stands for Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kouyu Kǎoshì(汉语水平口语考试),Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test/ HSK Oral Test.
HSK 3 to HSK 6 test takers are required to take HSK and HSKK from 2022.

The HSK certificate is valid indefinitely.
However, for academic purposes, it is valid for two years from the date the exam was taken. So if you're applying for a Chinese university, your HSK certificate will only be good for two years.
